Do you need to grow your Social Media presence but don’t know where to start?

8. Create your first Twitter List – but wait, get followers first Twitter lists allow users to organise the people that they follow into specific groups based on industry, relationship and expertise. When you’re first starting out Lists won’t be a top priority because you’ll still be growing your followers. You only need to create them when you really need them.

9. Save your searches, if they interest you or maybe needed further down the line Similar to Lists saved searches let users organise their content, it is best to save by content rather than user. Some ideas for searches to save include your business name, your name, the city/town that you’re in, industry related topics and popular hashtags.

10. Connect your customers where you provide an outlet – your touch point Would it surprise you to know that 80.5% of small businesses do not link to social media sites? In today’s digital age this is a big business mistake to make. Connecting your website to your Twitter profile will help drive traffic and organically build your social following.
